filmed at Sony Studios?

Sony Studios has had many names in the past, and has been an integral part of the Hollywood Movie industry for decades.  It was once known as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios.  In the Golden Age of Hollywood, it was known as the MGM Studios where Gone with the Wind, Singin’ in the Rain, and the Wizard of Oz were filmed.  Sony acquired the property from Warner Brothers in 1989, and began a multi-million dollar improvement project, that is still continuing.

 

As part of the improvement team, we added the finishing landscape touches to a project that included new facades and treatments to Main Street, as well as lush plantings and artificial turf areas.  Sony is a working studio, known for their post-production work, and they also have a booming daily tour business. That gave us plenty to contend with while the project was under construction.
