Newhall Metrolink Parking Expansion

The Old West needs more Parking, and another Park

The existing Metrolink station was so popular with local commuters that the City of Santa Clarita decided to add an additional 95 parking spaces to meet the need.  This new parking area was also shared by the Newhall Community Center, which happened to have an unimproved lot next door.

 

The perfect solution: add a park as well as parking.  We planted trees and shrubs, added picnic tables and benches, and finished it off with a large lawn area.
