Landscaping in Awesometown

With their adopted slogan of “Awesometown”, the City of Santa Clarita appreciates the value of a well-landscaped street:  particularly a street that is a gateway into the City.  The lushly landscaped medians replaced striped pavement and raised asphalt medians that weren’t particularly attractive or inviting.

 

The landscape construction employed water-efficient irrigation and plant choices, and will be maintained by the City’s award-winning Landscape Maintenance District.  The City’s commitment to high-quality landscape projects and the higher property values they elicit, bolster Santa Clarita’s reputation as “Awesometown”.
